Arrgghh,, setelah belakangan ini lumayan terobsesi girl band jepang, SCANDAL, yang membawakan aliran musik pop-rock, akhirnya perhatian saya teralihkan dengan band yang bernama Special Thanks ini.
Berawal dari link video youtube, yang dishare oleh SCANDAL di fan-page facebooknya, akhirnya saya melakukan penyelidikan lebih lanjut, tentang band Special Thanks ini.

 

Pada mulanya saya kira band ini adalah salah satu side projectnya Rina Suzuki (Drummer SCANDAL), karena saya kira yang jadi vokalis di Special Thanks adalah Rina,, (Habis lumayan mirip sihh.. sama sama cantiknya,, heheee ^_^ )

Ehh, setelah dilakukan penelusuran lebih lanjut ternyata band ini sama sekali tidak ada hubungannya dengan SCANDAL.


Special Thanks terdiri dari empat orang personil, yaitu Misaki (vocal & guitar), Sean(guitar & chorus) Nochi (drums), Hiromu (Bass & Chorus). Band ini membawakan musik bernuansa Punk Rock dengan lirik lirik ringan yang easy listening di telinga.

Lagu pertama yang "ngena" ditelinga saya dari band ini adalah "Hello Colorful". Selain irama groovynya yang mantab, lirik dari lagu ini juga sedikit pas dikehidupan saya, yang akhir akhir ini cuma berisi coding, compille dan debug hahaaa...
Lagu Hello Colorful menceritakan bahwa kita ini hidup didunia yang sangat indah dan berwarna, sehingga kita harus tetap bahagia dan tidak boleh bersedih.
